Dear Fellow Golfer,
You are invited to enter a team in the 27th Annual Newark Rugby Union Football Club Golf Society Open day on Friday 24th May 2019. Once again we are at Thonock Park Golf Club by kind permission of John Clark our very own Chief Executive of Ping Europe.
Those of you who have played in previous tournaments will know of the exceptional quality of the golf course, the generous help and assistance from the Thonock Park Golf Club team and the wonderful prizes which are available.
The competition is open to men and women and mixed teams are welcome. As per last year, we have brought the whole programme forward one hour. Those playing the course for the first time will, we guarantee, will be playing a course which will test you and provide a great deal of enjoyment.
The entry fee is £155 per team, including meals. Entries should be received at the Club, for the attention of Jayne Saunders by Thursday 16th May 2019 Restricted Entry - First Come First Served.

Each year we sell sponsorship for the 18 holes for £25.00 per hole, if you would like to sponsor a hole or donate a raffle prize, please tick the box in the entry form

Competition Format and Times
9.30am: Meet Checking of entry forms, fees of £155 per team and issue of scorecards along with the draw for TEE OFF HOLES.
10.30am: Bacon Rolls & Refreshments.
11.50 am Shot Gun Tee Off
Format: a. Stableford Competition, Best Team Score (Aggregate Best 2 Scores),
Handicap: Full Handicap
Allowance: Maximum Handicap Gents: 24 - Ladies 36. (Ladies, an additional 2 courtesy shots.)
Longest Drive hole 13 - Nearest Pin holes on all par 3 ‘Beat the Pro’ on 17.
All winners may be asked to produce Handicap Certificates
5pm: Rolling Carvery & Sweet followed by Prize giving. (Collar and tie please.)
