The Phase 3 demolition started in earnest yesterday, in just over 24 hours we have stripped the bar, beer store and the kitchen.
Thanks particularly to Tony and Ed Rose for helping remove all the equipment, furniture and fittings we want to salvage off site to their storage facilities for the summer.
Today (Tuesday) the 1985/86 dining room extension ceiling, the 1970 flat roof extension and the 1964 Fishers Folly Clubroom ceiling are all down and removed exposing the old steel structure and roof which we will insulate, new steel covering and gutters.
Goodbye Clubhouse. !!!!
The Sapele panelling is mostly also off. To say it’s going well is an understatement.
The Tuesday Team worked Monday and Tuesday this week to help C.F. Construction start the demolition.
The intention is to remove the structure down to the old floor level this week, this will allow CFC to remove the old floor and set out and prepare for the new foundations.
