Clark will be part of a management team led by head coach Nathan Smith backed up by the return of James Offer, who has played for the club at fly half, as backs coach.

Off field, the club’s management will be led again by President Alan Swain and Chairman Andrew Fearn who were both re-elected for a second term.

Other board members will be David Duddles (vice chairman), Nick Poulson (club secretary), Richard Staniforth (treasurer), Graham Macfarlane (facilities), Richard Byrom (playing), John Cook (sponsorship), Mark Jenkins (Director) and Simon Wing (people).

David Pick continues to head up the club’s working party looking at re-developing the Kelham Road clubhouse.

Members were told at the meeting that the fund-raising kitty had topped £80,000 towards an initial target of £200,000.
