Congratulations to Claire Hodnett

Congratulations to Claire Hodnett for making another international refereeing appearance in this season’s Women’s Six Nations Championship.

Claire, who started her whistling career looking after the 3rd and 4th teams, took charge of Saturday’s match between Wales and Ireland at the Arms Park.

This is Claire’s seventh international season and she is aiming to be among the team of officials for next summer’s Women’s World Cup in Ireland.

Ireland won in a match which was part of a women’s competition that has TV coverage and television match officials. A long way from Kelham Road - good luck Claire.
