Newark Centenary Sevens- cancelled

After much deliberation, it has been decided that the Newark Centenary Sevens scheduled for May 18 will be cancelled.

All clubs in NLD, plus many more in Leics and S Yorks were written to with details of the event. In addition, the planned tournament was publicised on the RFU, NLD and Club web sites.

Despite this, as of today we had no confirmed entries from outside the Club. We were, therefore, left with little choice.

For all those still considering playing 7’s, the Solstice Sevens at Casuals on June 22nd would be an excellent venue.
