It is with regret that the Club learnt that former member, Frank Rogers, who played in the 1950’s and 60’s, passed away at 1.30am on Sunday, 30th September 2018 in Lincoln Hospital.

Frank had been married for 3 weeks when, in October 1956, playing as prop forward he broke his leg during the second half and was taken to Newark Hospital.
The report from the local newspaper states that he had two fractures in his leg. Not the best of start to married life.

Condolences are extended to his wife and family at this sad time.

The funeral service will take place at St Leonard’s Church, Winthorpe Road, Newark at 2pm on Monday, 22nd October 2018.
