FURTHER INFORMATION
Beaumond House Community Hospice is a registered charity that has been committed to providing supportive palliative care to patients with life limiting or terminal illnesses and their families living in Newark & district, since 1987. Each year we provide care for over 500 patients and support to their families, caring for around 100 patients at any one time. All of our care is provided at no cost to the patient or their family.
We have 4 in-patient beds for people with palliative care needs, a day therapy and day care as well as a Hospice at Home service providing compassionate support to the community. We also offer a Resource and Information Service based at Beaumond House.
We are fully registered with the Care Quality commission70% of our patients suffer from cancer, whilst we support patients with life-limiting illnesses such as Parkinson's disease, Motor Neurone disease and Multiple Sclerosis.
