Congratulations to the club’s under-16s squad for a strong second-half performance in defeating Derby 22-10 at Scunthorpe.
Newark turned round 10-5 down but dominated the second 40 minutes to post three tries which clinched the Notts, Lincs & Derbys Cup.
All the tries came from forwards in George Coen, Josh White, Ryan Turlukowsky and Adam Bailey. Ben Lee added one conversion.
The squad are now off on an Easter tour to a tournament at Middleton in Ireland. Good luck to all…

The under-15s experienced a different kind of emotion on Cup finals day losing 35-10 to their Derby opponents.
Newark led in the first half when Alex Tuscher scored after a quickly taken penalty. But Derby produced some good rugby in the second half before wing Tom Farrell grabbed a consolation try.
Hard luck to the under-15s - but still a great effort in making the final. Be proud of your achievement.
