The event proved to be a huge success with the general public, but it was also a very well organised and operational success thanks to the combined efforts of the Showground staff and over 100 Newark Rugby Club Members.

The Showground Executive has already communicated their delight with the excellent performance of the Rugby Club volunteers in every area in which we had responsibilities.

On behalf of the Rugby Club, I want to thank every single volunteer for their considerable efforts over three days. It was a truly tremendous performance, both in the volume of hours worked and the quality of what we all achieved.

Together we have raised significant funds which will go towards the club’s delivery of quality rugby opportunities for all ages in our local community.
