Busy weekend for Newark youth…

Newark set a club record by providing five players for the Leicester Academy team who played at Worcester on Saturday (07/01/2016).
The Tigers lost out 27-26 but one of the Newark teenagers, James Martin, scored a try in a man-of-the-match performance.

On Sunday (08/01/2016). Newark provided seven players for the NLD under-16s squad who played in a tournament at Loughborough University organised by Leicestershire RU.
The game was played in quarters of 20 minutes each and NLD used 33 players in all.
