Work on Phase 2 progresses well.
All services (Electrics and Plumbing) are first fixed, the Ceiling grid in place, services second fix starts from Thursday, floor finishing programmed for w/c 27th, painting final coats from 4th December heading for completion by Friday 15th.
This week we have been braking out the concrete steps, terracing and handrails to form the new entrance to phase 2.
The steps were the old changing room players entrance, they will be replaced with a wide set of steel steps and a landing with a new accessible viewing area for wheelchairs.
The new access steps are being manufacture and these will eventually be the entrance to the clubhouse from pitch 1 side.
A separate rear entrance is also being manufactured to allow a rear fire exit, access door to pitch 2 side with an inbuilt high level viewing platform.
