Club Redevelopment - Progress week 3 (w/c 28/11/16)

Project Design team meeting took place on 1st December.

Meeting with Sport England technical advisor 2nd December

Phase 1

The work to divert known existing service obstructions (water pipe, RWP drains and foul drains) out of the new foundations has taken a little longer than we thought – this is now substantially complete.

This involved diverting a foul and surface water drains, removing a soakaway and exposing the water main and electrical cables for mains and cables for floodlights

All Foundations for the new extension are set out, excavation starts on Monday.

Steel reinforcement and holding bolts for new columns has arrived in site and is prepared for placing

Phase 2

The work continues to clear the cement slate roof coverings to the old clubhouse continues – we have now completed approx. 40%
