The end to a great season for Jess Weaver and Maddie Crofts as they receive the news that they have both been selected for England u15 Talent Development Squad. Both girls will now attend monthly training squads with the national team as they move into the next age group of u18's girls.

For Jess Weaver, who plays fly half, this will be her second season at the TDG, and has played Midlands u18's 7's a year out of her age group. For Maddie Crofts, who plays hooker, this was totally unexpected, but well deserved as she has captained both the Newark and NLD u15's teams to success this season.

With Newark Girls Section now being able to boast 13 NLD players, 4 Midlands players and now 2 players in England TDG, as well as National Champs - this certainly has been a season that the girls, coaches and club officials will not forget.

Thanks go to the coaches who have worked hard behind the scenes for the teams success and to the girls for the hard work and commitment to the game.
