Following a great season so far, the Newark Girls impressed selectors at recent Midlands Trials with a fabulous amount of girls being selected at both u15's and u18s level.

Following a successful NLD season, 8 Newark u15 girls were nominated for Midlands trials, with 5 girls securing a place and 1 girl still to trial as she was injured on trial day.

Erin Horne, Evi Watkins, Maddie Coy, Jess Brown and Alice Marriott were all successful.

The U18 girls faced a tough trial process, up against girls 2 years older them, but not to be left out, Maddie Crofts and Jess Weaver impressed the selectors to be given a place on the 30 girl strong squad.

All girls will now attend weekend training sessions with the Midlands Squad as they will face games against North, South East, South West over the next few months.
