Firstly, all credit to Beeston Fields GC for their efforts over the week in providing us with 18 playable holes. Given that the course was under snow as late as Tuesday the greens staff did a sterling job to accommodate us only 3 days later.

Now to the Alf Marshall Trophy - Contested this year as a 4B, with 2 to score, Yellow ball Stableford comp. Attracting 7 teams of 4.
Winter conditions & Yellow ball format isn’t conducive to run-away scoring, as can be seen from the scores, but feedback has been most positive and our thanks once again to mine- host Bill Russell for his inimitable efforts.
