Newark GC. 4th Oct 2017

Firstly, my apologies for a rather belated ‘match report’ but Paul and I needed time to balance the books before getting back to you.

We are now in a position to report that thanks to your most generous support, including the purchase of auction lots that you didn’t realise you needed, ( well done Charles), the final sum raised for the nominated charities was a record £730.

Pretty impressive, as was the turnout, and Newark GC’s hospitality on the day.

In fact, as several of you have already said, it was just the sort of golf day/gathering that Hugh would have enjoyed immensely and I know that his widow, Liz was truly pleased to see so many of his old friends remembering Hugh in this way. Thank you again.

Below you will find a few snaps taken by Strudders, and a record of results.

I hope to catch up with many of you on a variety of courses from York to Ireland over the next year but definitely at Newark GC again on the 3rd October 2018.

Regards,

Nick M.
