NEWARK RUFC CENTENARY 7S FESTIVAL

Newark RUFC is to stage a major 7s event to help celebrate the club’s 100th anniversary.

Newark has been selected by the RFU as one of only 37 venues for the RFU Secure Trading 7’s tournaments.

This is a nationwide competition to find the best amateur 7’s teams, involving a network of tournaments leading to a national finals day at the end of June.

The event at Newark will include men’s open and social sections alongside a women’s social tournament as well.

A full off-field programme is also planned with live music and food in the re-developed Kelham Road complex, which makes Newark one of the top junior clubs in the Midlands.

All Club members are welcome both for the daytime and evening’s festivities.
