WEARING OF MOUTH GUARDS
It is the RFU policy to ‘Strongly recommend’ the wearing of mouth guards in matches and contact training. NLD endorse this position and encourage all players to wear a properly fitted mouth guard.
If your club has arranged fixtures with Staffordshire clubs you should be aware that they have a policy of insisting on the wearing of mouth guards at all ages in Mini and Youth rugby.
They apply this both to their own clubs and to those visiting from other CBs. Please ensure that your squads are aware of this.
