Four of the u15 Newark Girls were successful in making the Midlands u15s team 2016. Genna Neasham, Maddie Crofts, Jess Weaver & Jess Brown were nominated for Midlands trails by NLD coaches, and along with 60 other players from Leicestershire, Staffs, North Mids and East Mids endured 2 hours of trails in the heavy muddy conditions last Sunday.

They found out on Tuesday that they were selected as part of a 28 girl squad to represent the Midlands and will be at training camps and Divisional games over the next few months.

Well done girls - you have well and truly put girls rugby at Newark on the map!
