Sleaford took a quick lead through a penalty and it took Newark a further 19 minutes to reply with a well taken try by Jacob Andrews next to the posts to edge the away team into a 3-5 lead.
The rest of the half was one-way traffic with tries for Newark coming from Toby Edlin, James Stark and Will Naylor with 2 conversions from Matt Cox to take the visitors to a 3-24 half time lead.
At the start of the second half Newark made 5 changes to ensure maximum payers benefited from game time but Sleaford took advantage of this reorganisation and they ran in 2 good tries to bring the score to13-24 after 62 minutes of play.
Newark fought back and soon regained their dominance, rewarded by a second try for Stark.
Sleaford continued to defend well and after 80 minutes the score remained at13-29 to a justifiably confident Newark side.
