CASUALS 15 - NEWARK 43
Newark II's after a stuttering first half performance produced some of their best rugby this season to dominate and over run a spirited performance from the home side.
The Newark backs ran in a series of well worked tries, coming from some strong and consistent ball from their forwards. Sam Sibilski was the pick of the backs scoring 2 excellent tries and setting up another two for Rich Primmitt and Jock MacKinnon.
Craig Hawes rounded of the afternoon, with 2 excellent tries of his own, with some strong running from the no 8 position.
Rees Overland landed 5 conversions to complete the scoring for Newark.
The only disappointment was the loss of skipper, Alex Jackson with a suspected broken ankle.............thankfully after the initial concerns the ambulance was cancelled and he walked from the pitch with only some slight swelling!!??
