Outplayed for the first 40 minutes

Newark were comprehensively outplayed for the first 40 minutes of this fixture which proved too much to claw back in a spirited 2nd half.

Debuts for Nick Ingleton and David Wilson at 9 and 10 from the under 18's was the highlight of a difficult day.

Newark turned around 33 - 0 down after a lacklustre 1st half and after a bit of soul searching and a good strong talking too the goal of winning the second half was achieved.

Trys from debutant Nick Ingleton from a quick tap and go was then followed by a last play of the game try from Sam Sibilski, converted by Paddy Robinson for a final score of 40 - 12.

Next Saturday Paviors at home in the cup, enough said.
