2nd XV – Pennant (Double Header)

Nottm Trent Univ IV 30 vs 28 Newark II

A shame the score was not equal as being a Double Header the league points were important.

Newark fielded a changed side with debuts for Martyn Hill on the back row and Ben Coombs in the centres. Adam Hazeldine was on the bench after impressing in training.

Great to have Sean May back as well who made a 20 minute appearance in the 2nd half following a knee injury that has seen him out for 18 months.

Trys came from Ennals, 2 for Craig Johnson and a penalty try. Overland kicking 3 conversions.

From the chat to the players afterwards there is a discipline issue that needs resolving which is unfortunate, as to date team discipline has been good.
