Newark II's continued their revival with a very convincing win over a strong Ilkeston side.

Early pressure was rewarded by two penalty kicks from Jamie Eveliegh, who again demonstrated his talents with a confident performance at full back.

The Newark side then took control of the game with some excellent attacking moves and when Ilkeston did launch attacks the exceptional defence held fast.

Tries from Jason Barnsdale, Craig Hawes, Nick Galinski and a resurgent Martin Brummitt rounded off an excellent afternoon for the II's.
