The grass is growing well at Kelham road and following all the rain and sun it needs cutting twice a week.
Our grass guru David Rhodes today enlisted the help of Newark, Leicester, England and British and Irish Lions hero Dusty Hare to help. David was impressed with the straight lines Dusty achieved without the aid of a laser or satellite navigation.

Our club are very fortunate to have members who are happy to help when the call goes out. Today we have been collecting all the tyres and steel girders from around the field. Billy Briggs Price dropped a large lorry trailer down and David Rhodes and Dusty helped load it.

The place is starting to look very tidy.

The steel will go to Billy’s yard for recycling and the tyres will also be recycled into parachutes for future use.
