Tim Barker, Director of Rugby, commented: “I’m really pleased that Ben has accepted this critical position in the development of senior rugby within the club.

Richard Byrom, team manager, said: “I’ve worked closely with Ben over the last year or so and no-one works harder to get players onto the park every Saturday. He’s passionate about the club and it shows in everything he does.”

Ben said: “It will be an honour to lead the 2nd XV at this vital time in the club’s development.”
