Golfers compete for the Phil Barker – Ed Hine trophies at third attempt!

Two years ago a waterlogged course prevented play and last year it was the covid lockdown that upset matters.

This year maybe a trifle warm but it was all systems go.

Well, except for the day’s sponsors that is, neither of whom were able to take part – Ed being currently excused games and Phil being in isolation.

But all was not lost for the Barker-Hine families in that Phil was represented by son James,
Ed by wife Lorrie, both of whom went home with their arms full of prizes.

Well done both of you and thanks again for your support.

All in all an excellent day’s golf and certainly a course that will be added to our programme.

Hopefully with Phil & Ed in attendance next year – if James & Lorrie can be persuaded to stand down.
