Golf Society President, Dicky Marshall, has an impressive turnout for his annual golf day at Greetham Valley GC, with 28 players in pairs competing for the coveted Alf Marshall Trophy.

As the results show, competition was fierce, and all credit to the eventual prize winners for their efforts. Of the courses at Greetham the Lakes Course is considered the most challenging of the two due to its water hazards and its hilly nature so the leading scores weren’t easily achieved. Well done all.

Finally, I would like to welcome several newcomers to our ranks this season – Andy Macgowan, a Leicester RUFC stalwart; James Barker, a well known face in our matches v Southwell RUFC ; Jonathan Fearn, son of Andrew; plus Paul Adams, Giles Thomas, Steve Mathias & Tim Naylor, all of whom have graced the hallowed turf of Kelham Road over the years.
