An amazing £248.67 was taken during the afternoon

A group from the U10’s team helped sweeten the taste of the remarkable victory by the 1st XV on Saturday, by holding a cake stand as part of their contribution to the Building Our Future campaign.

The boys, ably helped by their parents and sisters, baked a large array of delicious cakes, brownies and biscuits. These were then sold at the pre match lunch to Tony and Ed Rose’s guests and to spectators during the game. The few that were left were then given to players from both sides as they left the pitch to help bring back up their sugar levels!

An amazing £248.67 was taken during the afternoon and the team would like to thank all who supported them for their generosity.

Many congratulations to the boys involved William, Will, Matthew, Josh, Oscar, Rory, Orlando and their families

Hopefully this will spur other teams to hold similar events over the season as we move towards our Building Our Future £200,000 target.
