Over the last two weekends Newark Girls Section has helped the British Goats Society, first putting up goat pens and then removing them at the end of the Society’s recent Breed Show.
It was hard work in hot conditions but a great way to start getting fit for the season ahead.
Judging by the photos, the goats seemed happy with the effort put in!
Head Coach, James Tomlinson was delighted with the efforts of girls (and the family members they were able to rope in), “The rugby club is an important part of the community and it is good for the girls to help out where they can and at the same time they were able to raise some money to put towards our planned end of season tour to Edinburgh.”
