The aims of the club are straightforward – to develop opportunities and contacts for the members, based on referrals and introductions - either face-to-face at meetings and gatherings, or by other contact methods.
Informality is the key with very few rules. Essentially there will be no hard selling or ‘in your face’ marketing. Contacts will be low key but high quality. Come with a mind-set that you are going to chew the rugby fat with like-minded friends and you will find doors opening in front of you.
Unusually among local sports clubs, Newark boasts a high number of business owners and influencers amongst its members. A number of informal introductions over the past few months have already resulted in collaborations and direct introductions to new business for members.
We would like to create an environment with the love of all things rugby at its heart, where business people can get together to discuss ideas, opportunities or just the last game.

There is no annual fee in the first year but individual events may attract a fee to cover costs. We will review the fee structure during the first year.
Members should be willing to take a telephone call or answer an email from another member of the Business Club that you have been introduced to (you don’t have to buy the product but you should take the time to listen).
Newark RUFC reserves the right to regulate the network as it thinks fit, including membership of the club, as well as attendance at events. Please be patient with us as we try to get this exciting venture off the ground.
