The Newark U 13's Yellow team faced a very much improved Lincoln side.
Right from the start of the match, Lincoln dominated the breakdown and scrums.
Their powerful forwards took control quickly and as result it became extremely difficult for Newark to generate any offence as it was proving challenging to feed out to the backs and combined with the weather the ball proved to be difficult to hold on to and control.
In the scrum the Newark forwards were being pushed heavily so additional support was provided by Tyler B.
By half time the score was 9-0 in favour of Lincoln, but Newark never let their heads get down and came out fighting at the start of the second half.
In the first 5 or so minutes offence put together by Sam H and Hector F supported by Fergus W and Harry W started to push forward, but in the end the forwards from Lincoln controlled the scrum and the match ended 15-0 to Lincoln.
