For all finalists I will require your team sheets and your intended kit colours for inclusion in the programme, e-mailing to me at this e-mail address, on the Sunday evening preceding your Final date.
You are reminded that the Notts Knockout Competition Rules allow 5 replacements with 10 player interchanges during normal playing time. A 2 further interchanges are permitted during any extra time playing period.
Matches in which scores are equal at the completion of normal playing time are decided as follows
• If a match is a draw at the completion of normal time, then the team with fewer yellow cards issued to players during the match shall be the winner. For the avoidance of doubt any red card shall count as two yellow cards.
• If this does not produce a result then the team that has scored most tries will be the winner.
• If this does not produce a result then the team that has scored the most goals from tries is the winner. For the avoidance of doubt, where a penalty try has been awarded, and no attempt at goal is made in accordance with the Laws of the Game, this will count as a try and a goal.
• If this does not produce a result then extra time of 10 minutes each way shall be played with a 1-minute interval
• If this does not produce a result then the team that scored first in “extra time” shall be the winner.
• If that does not produce a winner then the trophy shall be shared.
