On a day of heroics it's hard to identify our 3rd XV's biggest hero.
Was it Rowan Allen or Martin Brown who worked hard to pull together a 3rd XV - a feat that is beyond many clubs these days?
Or number 8 Zak Briggs-Price who scored two tries. Or winger Owen Pegg whose interception try turned the tide?
A good case could also be made for Tom Lee - not particularly known for his prowess with the boot - but who nevertheless kicked what proved to be the deciding penalty in a closely fought contest.
But my vote goes to Man Lun who turned up simply to watch without his kit - but ended up playing anyway after veteran hooker Dick White was forced off with an ankle injury after five minutes.
Even more impressively, Man Lun played at flanker - not a position in which he has much - if any - experience.
This was by all accounts a dogged performance by the 3s. Lincoln had a number of big runners and they constantly punched holes from the breakdown.
Two early tries took them to a 12 point lead but Newark, starting with just 15 players, fought back and held on to that three point gap for the last 15 minutes of the game to make it a clean sweep for all three of the senior teams.
It's worth stating once again that fielding three teams is a big deal .
Last season more than 5,400 games below first team level were cancelled in England, so it's great to be part of a club that can still field over 50 players on a Saturday
