You are invited to enter a team in the 30th Annual Newark Rugby Union Football Club Golf Open day on Friday 26th May 2023. Once again, we are at Thonock Park, Gainsborough, kindly supported by PING.

Those of you who have played in previous tournaments will know of the exceptional quality of the golf course, the generous help and assistance from the Thonock Park Golf Club team and the wonderful PING prizes which are available.

The competition is open to men’s, women’s and mixed teams.

The entry fee is £200 per team, including Bacon Bap and Coffee on arrival and a post-round Full Carvery and Dessert.

Hole sponsorship for each of the 18 holes is available for £30.00 per hole, if you would like to sponsor a hole or donate a raffle prize, please tick the box below.

Competition Format and Times

9.30am: Arrival, Checking In, Payment, Draw for TEE-OFF Holes and Conversation

10.30am: Bacon Bap & Tea/Coffee.

11.45 Shot-Gun Tee Off from your assigned hole.

Format: Stableford Competition, Best Team Score (Aggregate Best Two Net Scores per hole),

Handicap: Full Handicap for the player as stated on the World Handicap System. Golfers with no WHS Handicap will be assigned a handicap by the Committee.

Ladies, receive an additional two courtesy shots.

Prizes First five teams

Nearest the Pin on par 3s (3rd, 7th, 12th) and ‘Beat the Pro’ on 17th.

5pm: Rolling Carvery & Dessert followed by Prize Giving.
