Welcome to Kelham Road, Kalem (Billy) Tanoa and Joell (Joe) Brookes-Bowen. We're excited to see what the boys bring to the pitch on game day and around the dressing room.

Billy's family are no strangers to Newark. I had the pleasure of playing with his dad, Terry, in 2002-2004, gaining promotion with a memorable win at Loughborough Students. Terry and Tess came over to the UK with Billy's older brother Kopere and Uncle Hoani Tui, making incredible memories and lifelong friends. Now it's great to see Billy pulling on the Navy and White hoops, and we hope he can emulate his dad's achievements on and off the pitch. An exciting 10/15, he will fit nicely with the fast-running game we play.

Joe arrives with a reputation as a big, tough runner. A powerful prop who can also play in the back row, he'll be a handful around the park and terrorise the opposition.

Off the pitch, the boys are beginning a two-year journey in the East Midlands, intending to contribute as much as they receive. They plan to work alongside coaches in local schools, including supporting children with learning difficulties, bringing rugby's values of teamwork, respect and resilience to places where they can make a real and lasting difference. They will also give their time to our Mini and Youth age groups across both the men's and women's sections, sharing their passion for the game at every level.

We look forward to helping them settle in and become part of the Newark family.

Go well, boys
