Wednesday 15th April 2026
This session is a great opportunity to explore future career pathways and understand how apprenticeships compare to more traditional routes such as University, Sixth Form and College.
Delivered by DBC Training – a provider with over 25 years’ experience and a ‘Good’ Ofsted rating.

Session 1 – Players (Youth & Colts)
Time: 6:45pm
• What is an apprenticeship – including the pros and cons
• Apprenticeships vs traditional routes (University, Sixth Form and College)
• Local opportunities – a snapshot of the wide range of roles available
• Where and how to source and apply for apprenticeships
Session 2 – Parents & Sponsors
Time: 7:30pm
We are also running a dedicated session for parents, sponsors, and local businesses, covering:
• How to access funding to offer apprenticeships
• Available grants and salary support
• Types of apprenticeships available
• How apprenticeships are delivered
• The benefits of introducing apprenticeships into your workforce
