Newark Rugby Club are celebrating a fantastic milestone as former player Millie Walker earns her call-up to the England Under 18 squad.
Millie began her rugby journey at Boston, progressing from minis into the girls section before moving to Newark to play full XV rugby. Over two seasons with the U16s, she quickly became a key player and earned selection for the NLD DPP programme.
She later moved to Loughborough College for sixth form to further both her education and rugby development, while still returning to support Newark’s U18s during the 2024/25 season.
At the end of that campaign, Millie travelled to Japan with Loughborough College, representing England in a World Rugby Youth 7s tournament.
Her continued progress saw her selected for the England U18 training squad earlier this season, where she impressed across multiple camps. She has now been named in the squad for the U18 Six Nations—an outstanding achievement.
Everyone at Newark Rugby Club will be cheering Millie on as she takes this exciting next step.
