On Saturday 17th October - Newark is throwing open the gates at Kelham Road for something a little different: a Family Day, as our senior men take on Mellish.

We would like the whole club family down at the ground, not just watching from the sidelines, but properly taking part in the occasion. Bring your son(s) or daughter(s), your Mum or Dad, and make an afternoon of it together.

Rugby has always been about more than the game itself, it's about who you share it with, and this fixture is our chance to celebrate that, together as one club community.

To fuel the cheering, we've put on a special matchday menu:

Adults - Large Yorkshire pudding filled with smoked bacon and chive mash, caramelised onion sausages, roasted root vegetables and a rich wine gravy.

For our younger members (16 and Under), you have a choice of cheese & bacon burger and chips or tender chicken bites served with chips and BBQ sauce - £14 for adults and just one pound for one accompanying child. Everyone knows that Chef Matt will serve a great meal.

Whether you've been coming to Kelham Road for years or it's your family's first visit, everyone is welcome, and every voice on the touchline makes a difference.

Let's make this one of the biggest crowds of the season. Bring the lads, bring the dads, bring the mums, bring the daughters, bring the whole family, and let's cheer and enjoy each other's company.

The pre-match meal starts at 1.30 pm. Kick-off is at 3pm.
