Important Information for Adult Player Registration –
Season 2024/25

The RFU have changed the adult player registration process for next season.

For the first time ALL ADULT PLAYERS (male and female) must be registered on the RFU’s Game Management System (GMS) to play rugby at any level.

Players who are not registered
may not be selected by the Club for any fixture,
including friendlies.

All RFU GMS player registrations
HAVE TO BE INITIATED BY THE PLAYERS – NOT THE CLUB
.

All Men who have previously played league rugby for the 1s or 2s (some 3s players) and all Women players will already have a GMS account.

All those mentioned above (WITH GMS ACCOUNTS) will have been sent a message with instructions on how to proceed NOW!
PLEASE CHECK YOUR EMAILS AND CLUB APP MESSAGES FOR DETAILS
AND TAKE ACTION NOW.

COMING UP

Touch rugby this year – 2024

Wednesday the 5th of June and then every Wednesday after that
starting at 6:30 – 8:00pm (for 6 weeks)

Tom Mapp is again organising the Summer Touch Rugby

As the winter months are left behind and we head in the summer, touch rugby is back at Newark RUFC.
The first date is planned for Wednesday the 5th of June and then every Wednesday after that starting at 6:30 – 8:00pm (for 6 weeks).

We are planning on running 4 pitches, more if numbers allow and it is open to all players from U12 (2023/24 season/ current Year 7) and above.

There will be a small charge, details will follow once you have registered your interest. If you or anyone you know is interested in the opportunity to referee, then please drop me a direct email.

To register your interest please complete the link below.

Can you ensure that the details are correct as contact details will be used solely to send information and weather updates.
However, we will aim to play touch in all weathers.

FOR ALL JUNIOR PLAYERS (18 AND BELOW) PLEASE USE PARENTAL DETAILS. NO INFORMATION WILL BE SENT TO JUNIOR PLAYERS.

Please be aware that last year this event was very popular, to avoid disappointment this will be first come first placed (if we reach maximum participants, we will run a waiting list for availability of space).

As a brief reminder the touch rules we will be playing are listed below.
