A night for the legends – and for a cause that matters | Friday 20 November

Dan Cole, Darren Garforth and Simon Shaw at Kelham Road, plus an auction. One night only, in aid of MND.

On Friday 20th November, Newark Rugby Club will host something truly special: Legends Evening – The Tigers Return, a night held in conjunction with the Matt Hampson Foundation and raising vital funds for MND.

This is a one night only fundraiser, and we would love to see as many of you there as possible.

Why it matters

Rugby clubs are about far more than what happens on the pitch. At their best they are communities that look after each other and use their platform to help those facing the toughest of challenges. Working alongside organisations like the Matt Hampson Foundation lets our club do exactly that and gives every one of us the chance to make a real difference simply by enjoying a great evening together.

Every ticket sold, every table filled and every winning bid goes towards a cause that rugby people understand and stand behind.

The line-up

• Dan Cole – guest speaker

• Darren Garforth – guest speaker

• Simon Shaw – your MC for the evening

Without doubt, these are three genuine legends of the game. Expect stories from the top level of rugby, plenty of laughs, an auction with great lots, and the kind of insight you only get from men who have done it all. We can promise a brilliant night of entertainment from start to finish.

Auction on the night

There will also be an auction during the evening, with some great lots to be secured. It is a brilliant chance to pick up something special while helping to raise even more for MND. Bring your bidding paddle arm and your generosity!
