Too busy to get advice on that niggling problem, or thinking about getting healthier but keep putting it off until tomorrow? Newark Rugby Club, in partnership with Your CVS and Newark and Sherwood District Council , is hosting a Men’s Health Roadshow on Wednesday 26th November from 5.30–9.00pm at Kelham Road — and everyone is welcome!

November is Men’s Health Month, so this is a great opportunity for players, members, volunteers, parents, and friends to come along, ask questions, and learn more about both physical and mental wellbeing. If you have a family member, a friend, neighbour or work colleague that you are worried about, this is a perfect opportunity to ask a few questions.

The evening will bring together a range of expert organisations including:
GamCare (gambling), Your Health Notts (stop smoking & nutrition), Alzheimer’s Society, Talking Therapies, Samaritans, CGL (drugs & alcohol support), Macmillan Cancer Support and Active4Today.

There will also be GP representatives providing information on prostate and testicular health , and the Clinical Research Bus will be on-site for those wanting to explore new treatments and advice.
