Everyone at Newark Rugby is absolutely delighted to hear that former fly-half Potene Rolls has been selected to represent New Zealand — the All Blacks — at Touch Rugby.

Potene graced Kelham Road for a season wearing the number 10 shirt, and he left a lasting impression on everyone who saw him play. That explosive sidestep, the ability to turn a game in a heartbeat, and a 20-metre pass off either hand that most backs would dream of — he was genuinely special to watch.

It’s no surprise whatsoever that international recognition has followed.
