What could your Next Phase look like?

Newark Rugby Club is opening its doors for a dedicated training and opportunities Open evening, giving our young members and their families the chance to explore what could come next.

We want to use the strength of the Newark Rugby community to help our young members understand the different opportunities and pathways available to them after school or college.

Whether you're considering Sixth Form, College, University, an apprenticeship, further training or moving directly into employment, Next Phase is an opportunity to explore your options before deciding what's right for you.

Why attend?

The evening will bring together local employers, training providers, colleges and education partners, giving young people and their parents the opportunity to:

• Meet employers and training providers

• Explore different career options

• Get advice about your next step

• Learn more about apprenticeships, education, training and employment opportunities

• Talk informally with local organisations about the skills and qualifications they're looking for

• Discover opportunities and career paths you might not previously have considered

More Than Rugby

Next Phase forms part of the wider Post-16 offering we are developing at Newark Rugby Club through the new Newark Rugby Community Foundation.

Our ambition is to support our young people both on and off the pitch, creating stronger links between rugby, education, coaching, volunteering, training, apprenticeships and employment.

Through our sponsors, partners and wider local business community, we want to create opportunities for our young male and female members to meet employers, develop new skills and get the support they need as they begin making important decisions about their future.

You don't need to know what you want to do yet. That's exactly why we're holding the Next Phase Open Evening.
