Newark Under 15s boys squad have done it again — securing the NLD Age Group title for the third consecutive year with a commanding 15–5 victory over a strong Scunthorpe side in Sunday’s final.
It was a performance full of grit, skill and the kind of collective determination that has become the hallmark of this group. Scunthorpe arrived with a well-deserved reputation, making the boys’ win all the more impressive. But Newark rose to the occasion and delivered when it mattered most, running out deserving champions on a memorable afternoon.
Three titles in three years is a remarkable achievement at any level, and a testament not only to the quality of the players but to the coaches, parents, and supporters who have backed this squad every step of the way. These young men have set a standard that the rest of the region is chasing.
The question on everyone’s lips now? Can they make it four in a row in 2027?
If Sunday’s performance is anything to go by, we wouldn’t bet against them.
Congratulations, lads — Newark is incredibly proud of every one of you.
