Congratulations to club member Phil Marshall on his award from the English Schools RFU for his distinguished services to the game in Notts, Lincs & Derbys and the Midlands.

Phil, who formerly worked at Magnus School and Tuxford Academy, held numerous roles in schools rugby over some 30 years. He is presently working in Sweden.

Besides organising the annual Newark Schoolboy Sevens, Phil’s roles included chairman of Notts Schools Rugby (2006-2010) and national selector for England 16 Group (2008-12).
