Golf Society Ladies Section too hot for the male opposition and retain the Ed Hine & Phil Barker Trophy contested recently at Radcliffe on Trent GC. Well done ladies, and everyone else who visited Ed & Phil's most generous prize table. Many thanks, of course, to sponsors Ed & Phil, and competition organisers Charles and Tim. In what was a keenly fought competition, and despite some impressive stuff from Paul Adams, with a 160 yd eagle; Chris Pickett likewise; and even GS President Dicky firing in a couple of long range birdies, Lorrie McGowan & team were clear and worthy winners once again.
