Having ended 2019 with several disappointingly wet days the Golf Society were pleased to start the new season with much improved weather for the John Gelsthorpe sponsored Pratt Trophy day at Newark GC this week.
Hopefully the first of many such days.
No less than 28 players contested the competition, and were pleased to welcome along Bob Benbow, Rory Coles & Tony Rose to join them and contest the Veteran’s Tankard.
The Society’s thanks go out to Newark GC for making special provision to host the day and providing a much appreciated welcome.
