The recent heatwave has been tough on everyone – including our pitches.

With weeks of dry weather and little rain forecast, we want to say a huge thank you to our incredible Pitch Team.

Most days, they’re on site before 6am, moving the irrigation system every couple of hours to give our surfaces the best possible chance against the sun.

The results speak for themselves – Pitch 2 now looks amazing, and it’s testament to the hours of hard work going on quietly behind the scenes.

Giving up their own time, solving problems, and doing everything possible to look after the grounds we all enjoy – this is what keeps Newark RUFC playing on some of the best pitches in the league.
