Newark turned on the style to reach a second cup final this season by outclassing Moderns in the semi-final of the Notts Cup.
Chris Tate’s team are set to face Mansfield in both the final of the Notts Cup (scheduled April 28 at Mellish) and in the Three Counties Cup (Kesteven, May 30).
Newark scored nine tries in sweeping aside Moderns who started strongly but struggled in the second half after turning round 18-0 down.
Centre Aloesi Waqalevu and Toby Edlin both scored two tries and one each came from James Price, Matt Cox, Chris Tate. Jason Barnsdale and Neil Clark. Cox kicked 16 points.
